When news of Kony first arouse, people were horrified by the idea of him stealing children and making them fight for him as his private army. That was 2012. In 2012, people fought to be the voices of these “invisible children.” But this is 2013. So what happened? As of now, Joseph Kony is still out there. He’s still strong, but he’s hiding. It’s not only Kony however who is forcibly recruiting young people to fight in their armies. All over the world, child soldiers are being recruited, controlled, and killed.
